Saturday several Hoofers Mountaineering Club members put on an anchor setting clinic.  Whether your shooting for 100 climbs this year or not, gaining anchor setting skills sure is useful for achieving your year’s climbing goals.  The group was broken into a beginner group and advanced group.  Both groups were able to learn about gear and practice gear placement.

Days like these make me even more appreciative of the cooperative teaching and learning community that Hoofers is.  Huge thanks to Angie Limbach for organizing and leading the instruction, as well as JJ, Gabe, Arthur, and Eric.  Also on Saturday Doug, Alex and Aaron put on a trad clinic for new aspiring trad climbers!
