What a day at Adventure Rock‘s Quick on the Draw 2014 competition!
I spent 13 hours at the gym yesterday, helping with the Century Climbing Challenge booth as well as competing in the afternoon, and then watching the always entertaining finales in the evening.
Worth every minute!
Here’s the best part: 27 climbers joined the 2014 Challenge! Special thanks to the Silvestre family, with all three of them signing up!
Let’s put this in context:
- Four years ago, when the Challenge was founded, only 25 people signed up all year
- Over 20 people from Q on the D are new to the challenge!
- We’ve raised almost $1,000 in support of Devil’s Lake so far!
Big thanks to Craig. Alicia and the rest of the Adventure Rock crew for letting us join the party. 2014 is already a great year for the Century Climbing Challenge.
