This is a great year to be a climber in the Century Climbing Challenge!
Sometimes people ask me, “Why should I sign up?” I love this question, because I get to share my enthusiasm for the Lake, the outdoors and being a responsible member of the community. Every climber who joins the Challenge is another climber who puts their hand in the air to be counted by the State as an important user group in the parks. Every member of the Challenge chooses to be steward, helping with the conservation of their park. Every one of you also becomes part of a positive, passionate community that will help you be a better climber and find the hidden gems of the park that are enormously fun to climb!
And there’s the coupon book. Thanks to our generous and equally passionate sponsors, you basically get paid to climb when you sign up for the Challenge. The nights of free camping that you get cover the cost of signing up on their own.
But then you get even more. Here’s the full line-up of coupons in this year’s book. We just sent the final file to be printed, and we are really grateful for the generosity so many of our community businesses have shown! Please visit them to say, “Thank You!”
